ALUPH STUDIO is founded and operated by self-taught artist, Lucy Phung. 

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Lucy has been drawn to the arts for as long as she can remember. From elementary to high school, she received numerous local awards and recognition for her skills in digital, traditional, and three-dimensional art. She first started doing commissioned pieces at 15 years old and founded "Lucy's Clay Stuff", an online boutique that sold various clay pendants and jewelry. Each one-of-a-kind piece was painstakingly hand-sculpted, hand-painted, and glazed to perfection.  

 

Her interest in drawing portraits started in 2013. In less than a year she sold her first commissioned portrait. With absolutely no formal training in the arts, her undying dedication to her craft has led her to receive commission requests from music artists, models, and comedians alike, through social media.
